Since the end of 1800, the wine produced by Abbadia Ardenga was sold both in Italy and abroad.

The 1900’s Brunello di Montalcino participated in an interprovincial competition organized by the “Regno d’Italia“ (Italian Kingdom) and the  “Camera di Commercio ed Arti di Siena“ (Chamber of Commerce and Arts of Siena). Among the 118 partecipants the 1900’s Brunello di Montalcino was awarded as the third best aged wine.

In 2005, one hundred years after the 1900 awarded vintage, we celebrated the  100th Anniversary with our 2000 Brunello di Montalcino.
